What you'll do

• Take functional ownership of SAP Transportation Management solutions and shape their evolution in line with business and IT strategy

• Design and implement end-to-end transportation processes in SAP TM, including planning, execution, freight settlement and integration with connected systems

• Lead solution design, configuration, testing and deployment activities across SAP S/4HANA and SAP TM transformation initiatives, translating business requirements into scalable and sustainable solution concepts

• Steer the development of enhancements, interfaces and integrations, ensuring robust architecture, documentation and quality standards, while acting as functional lead in projects and coordinating consultants, developers, testers, key users and vendors

• Ensure operational stability of the SAP TM product, drive root-cause resolution, continuously improve support and delivery processes, and maintain the product roadmap by identifying relevant SAP innovations and logistics trends

Who you are

• Several years of professional experience in SAP consulting with a strong focus on SAP Transportation Management and transportation processes, including the delivery of SAP TM implementations or major enhancements in complex, international environments

• Strong functional knowledge across transportation planning, execution, freight management and settlement, combined with solid end-to-end integration expertise

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and a strong understanding of the integration of SAP TM with SAP ERP, logistics execution and external solutions

• Structured problem solving and sound technical judgement, combined with a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics business processes and the ability to advise business partners and communicate complex topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Ownership mindset and strong collaboration skills across global teams, with experience leading functional workstreams and guiding colleagues and partners as well as familiarity with tools such as Jira and ServiceNow and fluent English and German language skills (C1)
