What you’ll do

As a Senior IT Network Specialist, you take a leading role within the Agile Network Product Team in the ICT Core domain. In a DevOps environment, you work closely with the Product Owner, Architects and Engineers to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing network solutions for all global sites.

• Co-own the network product roadmap together with the Product Owner and Product Architect
• Contribute to the design and delivery of network epics and features within the Agile Release Train
• Review and refine high- and low-level network architectures with a focus on security, performance and user experience
• Drive automation and continuous improvement through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
• Monitor and optimize network availability and performance across all sites
• Lead complex changes and critical incidents, and act as technical escalation point towards vendors
• Translate use cases from ICT and business stakeholders into secure and efficient network solutions
• Take part in sprint planning, backlog refinement and other agile ceremonies
• Share knowledge and maintain documentation within the team and towards first- and second-line support

What you bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, or equivalent
• 8+ years of experience in IT networking within global enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba ClearPass (Network Access Control)
• Solid knowledge of Aruba CX (switching, routing, EVPN, VXLAN, BGP) and Aruba Wireless
• Experience with Check Point firewalling, F5 Application Delivery Controllers and WAN technologies such as IPsec VPN and SD-WAN
• Experience with network automation using NetBox, AWX Ansible, Terraform and Python
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as Zero-Trust, NIS2 and ISO27001
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps principles
• Fluent in English or Dutch, spoken and written
