Senior Java Developer

Role and Responsibilities: As a Java Developer at DVT , you will play a crucial role in designing and building advanced, scalable systems. You will work across a diverse tech stack, contributing to the development of high-performance applications. Core Java & Frameworks : Leverage Oracle/OpenJDK , Jakarta EE , MicroProfile , Micronaut , and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Core, MVC, Boot, Data, Streams, Cloud, Security) to build robust microservices architectures . API Development : Design and manage APIs using OpenAPI (YAML), SOAP, RESTful services, and GraphQL . Front-End Integration : Collaborate with front-end teams working with ReactJS, VueJS, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript to deliver seamless user experiences. Backend Expertise : Work with powerful backend technologies such as Apache Kafka, JMS, JTA, AMQP, and enterprise web services . Architecture Patterns : Implement event-driven architectures, microservices , and selectively utilise monolithic architectures when necessary. Work with serverless functions (Functions-as-a-Service) where applicable. Data Solutions : Develop scalable data solutions using JPA, Hibernate, NoSQL, MongoDB , and various RDBMS (both on-premises and cloud-managed, including AWS and Azure ). Cloud & Containerization : Utilize AWS cloud services and deploy scalable applications using Docker and Kubernetes . Testing & Automation : Ensure high-quality, reliable software using JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber for test automation. Source control management & CI/CD Pipelines : GIT based source control management such as GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab. Implement and utilise best practices in Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment/Delivery (CD) to streamline software development and release processes. Required Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java Development (Java 11-17 or higher). 5+ years of experience with SpringBoot 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
