Senior Java Developer

CompatibL, a leading provider of trading and risk management software solutions, is looking for a talented Java Developer with a good level of English (B2+) to join its growing team.

What will you be doing?

You will join an international engineering team working on a long-term project for a major US bank. The primary goal of the project is to modernize the existing monolithic application by transitioning to a service-oriented architecture. Currently, the system manages risk calculations and related financial data across various domains. Several smaller domains have already been rewritten and are in the validation stage, while the next phase involves re-engineering domains with a larger number of entities. Your role will involve designing scalable solutions for efficient data processing, optimizing data flow between services, and enhancing system performance across distributed components.

What are we looking for?

• Strong programming background with Java and OOP skills
• Hands-on experience with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, JDBC, RESTful services)
• Working knowledge of Oracle and SQL
• Experience with microservices and service-oriented architecture principles
• Linux knowledge
• Concurrency and multithreading skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
• Upper-intermediate English level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience working in financial institutions or with financial data workflows
