We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to join an international project within the Insurance ecosystem, contributing to the development and evolution of an innovative risk exchange platform.

The platform supports the development and management of insurance products, helping respond to evolving business and client needs through scalable and reliable technology solutions.

🧡 About the Project

You will join an international initiative within the Insurance sector, working on a risk exchange platform focused on developing and managing insurance products.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will work closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance insurance products within a risk exchange platform.
• Build scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions using Java.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software.
• Use Azure DevOps to support CI/CD, deployment, and collaboration throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement and optimize SQL and MongoDB databases to support insurance-related data.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the development team.
• Keep up to date with software engineering best practices and emerging technologies.

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Java Development.
• Solid experience working with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and team collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL databases.
• Experience working with MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Fluent in English.
• Previous experience within the Insurance / Financial Services sector is a plus.
