Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with a strong focus on system integrations to join our delivery team.

The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining robust Java-based applications, integration solutions, and services for the finance sector.

You will work closely with customers and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle – from requirements analysis and solution design to development, testing, and go-live.

Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Java Development

• Develop scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions following modern software development principles
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring
• Apply clean code principles, design patterns, and development best practices
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability

System Integration

• Design, develop, and implement integrations between enterprise applications and external SAP systems
• Build and maintain APIs, web services, and integration interfaces
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable data exchange across platforms

Technical Requirements

Must-have

• Several years of professional experience in Java development
• Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework
• Proven experience in designing and implementing system integrations
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Good understanding of integration patterns, API design, and data exchange mechanisms
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), particularly CAP Java
• Experience integrating SAP systems with external applications
• Experience with cloud platforms and cloud-native application development
• Experience or domain knowledge in Finance or Tax-related processes
