OBSS is looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team and contribute to delivering end-to-end software solutions across diverse industries. You will work on cutting-edge projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications that solve real business problems.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex program documentation, including structure, behavior, interaction diagrams, system flowcharts, and test/conversion plans.
• Review development and coding of Java programs and ensure proper documentation across all information systems projects.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews to verify that system and cost objectives are met.
• Recommend and implement new procedures and techniques to enhance supported systems.
• Communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including external vendors and management.
• Lead medium-to-large technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications / Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework, JSP; experience with REST/SOAP web services preferred.
• Proficiency with tools such as IntelliJ, Jenkins, Sonar, Git, and Maven.
• Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, SQL Developer, ODI, Splunk, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Solid back-end development experience and strong knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and object-oriented development.
• Advanced SQL and JavaScript skills; expertise in HTML/CSS (responsive layouts).
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and a high-energy mindset.
• Residence in Turkey is required.
• Ability to approach AI with curiosity and intention, actively incorporating AI-powered tools into workflows to enhance productivity and drive innovation.
