Job Description This is a remote position. One of our clients, a leader in the iGaming sector, is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join their team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications while collaborating with a highly skilled engineering team to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Deliverables Design, develop, and maintain web applications and services. Build and maintain RESTful APIs. Write clear technical documentation. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues. Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Conduct code reviews and promote coding best practices. Mentor and support junior developers. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks. Requirements Ideal Profile Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development. Experience working in Agile environments. Strong experience with: Java Git CI/CD pipelines Kubernetes RESTful APIs Kafka Good knowledge of: SQL and NoSQL databases Distributed and scalable systems Microservices architecture Helm Auto-scaling Istio Experience with event-driven architectures is an advantage. Experience with other object-oriented programming languages is a plus. Fluent in spoken and written English.
