You’ll join a team building and modernizing technology for a global talent mobility and relocation business. This is a backend-focused position with opportunities to contribute across the full stack.

The role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with deep Java and Spring Boot expertise to design and build reliable production services. A key part of the role is maintaining existing Node.js and TypeScript services and reimplementing them in a modern Java architecture.

You’ll work with U.S.-based teams in a collaborative, cloud-native environment, using AI-assisted development tools as part of your daily workflow.

What you’ll do

• Design, build, deploy and maintain production backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Maintain legacy Node.js and TypeScript services and reimplement them in Java.
• Build and scale cloud-native, event-driven services using AWS technologies.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Work with PostgreSQL and relational data models.
• Use agentic AI coding tools in development, refactoring and testing workflows.
• Build and maintain React-based applications when needed.
• Collaborate closely with U.S.-based colleagues and stakeholders.

Strict requirements

All of the following are mandatory:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend focus.
• Advanced English proficiency at C1 level.
• Previous professional experience working directly with U.S.-based teams.
• Strong, hands-on experience building production services with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience maintaining Node.js and TypeScript services and reimplementing them in Java.
• Hands-on experience with modern React.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and event-driven architectures, using services such as Lambda, ECS and SNS.
• Strong relational database fundamentals and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests, using JUnit or an equivalent framework.
• Fluency with agentic AI coding tools, such as Claude Code, as part of the development workflow.
• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Based in Argentina, Uruguay or Mexico, with legal authorization to work in your country of residence.
