Tech Stack:

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial software development experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+

  • Very good knowledge of Spring Boot and the modern Spring ecosystem

  • Commercial experience in frontend development

  • Strong practical experience with Angular and/or React

  • Commercial experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

  • Commercial experience working with AI solutions

  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic AI solutions in professional projects

  • Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools

  • Proven experience building and integrating REST APIs

  • Solid understanding of modern application architectures

  • Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and software engineering best practices

  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in international teams

Nice to Have:

  • Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow

  • Experience with DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)

  • Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes

  • Experience with Kafka or other event-driven technologies

  • Experience with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, APIs, or RAG-based solutions

  • German language skills

  • Previous experience in financial services, banking, or FinTech environments

Project Description:

Join an international team working on modern, AI-driven software solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and evolution of scalable applications, combining robust backend services with intuitive frontend experiences. A key aspect of the project is the integration of artificial intelligence into the software development lifecycle and business applications.

We are looking for someone who has already worked commercially with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, agentic workflows, or other AI-powered solutions and understands how to apply these technologies in real-world scenarios. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in architectural discussions, and help shape innovative solutions that leverage modern software engineering practices and AI technologies.

Please note: this is a freelance engagement with a 12-month project duration.

Scope of Services:

  • Develop end-to-end full stack solutions using Java/Spring Boot and Angular/React.

  • Design and implement scalable REST APIs and backend services.

  • Build modern, user-focused frontend applications.

  • Integrate and optimize AI-powered solutions, including LLMs and AI agents.

  • Collaborate on architecture, technical design, and best engineering practices.

  • Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot.

  • Contribute to CI/CD processes and cloud-based deployments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

  • Work closely with international, cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions.
