Location: Brussels & remote (hybrid, of which at least 2 days a week at the office)

Expert: 7 years of experience

Education: The candidate must have a bachelor's and/or master's degree.

General Description

The developer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable end-to-end applications within an environment consisting of a Java backend and an Angular frontend. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in backend development with solid frontend skills, with a particular focus on performance, ergonomics, and code quality. The candidate actively participates in the development of complex application solutions and contributes to the implementation of technical solutions that meet both business requirements and technical constraints.

Required Skills & Technologies

Excellent command of the Java language (Spring Boot, Spring Framework).

Solid experience with Angular development and frontend technologies (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).

Experience with the development and integration of (RESTful) APIs and application interfaces.

Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL,...).

Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Maven, GitLab CI, ...).

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience with JIRA / Confluence.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work autonomously and take full responsibility for the solutions developed.

Customer, team and result-oriented.

Active knowledge of Dutch or French.

Passive knowledge of the other language (French or Dutch).

Good command of technical English.
