Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer

Do you enjoy building Kubernetes platforms that other engineering teams can rely on? Would you like to help create secure private-cloud environments for AI services used by public-sector organizations? Join a project for a public agency and help establish, develop, and operate Kubernetes-based platforms in its private cloud. Combine hands-on engineering with platform design, automation, and knowledge sharing to build services that support both development teams and reliable operations.

• Establish, develop, and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms in a Swedish public agency’s private cloud.

• Shape the VCF organizational setup and build the infrastructure and platform services needed to make Kubernetes environments available to other teams.

• Create stable and secure development and operational environments for delivering AI services to public-sector organizations.

• Implement and maintain Kubernetes access controls, network policies, and secure secrets management.

• Document technical solutions, share knowledge with internal employees, and support development teams in using the platform.

• Collaborate across technical disciplines and contribute beyond your core area of expertise when needed to help the team achieve its goals.

• At least 4 years of relevant hands-on experience working with and administering Kubernetes, including establishing and maintaining Kubernetes as a platform service for other teams.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes access control, network policies, and secure secrets management.

• Ability to document technical solutions clearly, support development teams, and transfer knowledge to colleagues.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Swedish and English, combined with flexibility, openness to change, and a willingness to solve problems wherever support is most needed.

• Desirable: Experience with VKS or other Kubernetes solutions on VMware, VCF Automation, and building services for VCF Automation.

• Additional advantages include experience with AI/GPU infrastructure and GPU scheduling and sharing in private clouds; GitOps and automated delivery workflows using Argo CD, Flux, or similar tools; and shared platform services such as container registries, Git services, and monitoring.
