Remuneration: $150,841 - $173,931 pa Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Join Monash University as a Senior Lecturer (Education Focused) and contribute to the continued development of education in addictive behaviours. This role provides educational leadership within the School, with a focus on enhancing teaching and learning, developing engaging learning materials and strengthening students’ critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.

The Senior Lecturer (Education Focused will lead the ongoing development, administration and delivery of the Master of Addictive Behaviours, Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses, including course coordination, lectures and seminars. Responsibilities also include developing related short courses and micro-credentials, contributing to health promotion and teaching resources, and driving curriculum design, review and evidence-based teaching improvements. The role will also contribute to educational scholarship, research publications, student supervision and teaching innovation across the School and Faculty, while supporting the development of teaching capability in colleagues.

We are seeking someone with advanced qualifications or significant relevant experience, normally including a doctoral qualification or equivalent, alongside a strong record of scholarly and professional achievement. Demonstrated excellence in tertiary teaching, including online delivery, research and publication skills, and experience in academic leadership, student supervision and collaborative partnerships will also be important.
