Senior Legal Counsel

About the role We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to provide high-quality legal support for our support our operations in Pakistan as well as other jurisdictions ensuring compliance in a complex and fast moving environment. This role involves providing legal advice on a wide range of matters – from commercial contracts and civil law to marketing, fintech, and digital regulation – ensuring compliance and helping build efficient, business-oriented solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end legal support for operations Advise on wide range of legal matters: civil, commercial, consumer, competition, marketing/advertising, ride-hailing licensing, fintech, and digital law matters, and more. Review contracts and policies, and assist in claims resolution. Review and approve advertising and promotional activities to ensure their compliance with applicable regulations, support marketing and media campaigns with legal review. Monitor upcoming regulations and prepare legal analysis of their impact on the business. Ensure compliance with local laws and internal standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regional and global projects. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 5 + years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a law firm supporting IT or tech companies. Experience in civil, commercial, consumer, and media/advertising law. Familiarity with fintech and digital platforms regulation is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Proficiency in English (C1–C2 or equivalent); local language proficiency required. Experience in international environments is a plus.
