Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Senior Linux System Administrator at NSC, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, with fixed working hours from 3PM to 11PM Vietnam time (the rest is flexible).

We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux System Administrator to manage, maintain and enhance our Linux infrastructure across multiple cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, security and performance of critical systems while supporting infrastructure automation, container platforms and cross-functional engineering teams.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux infrastructure across Rackspace, AWS, Oracle Cloud and GCP.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure, network and OS issues, and perform security patching and upgrades.
• Support Docker and Kubernetes environments, including application migration and containerized services.
• Manage VPN, DNS, firewalls, backups, disaster recovery and system hardening in line with security best practices.
• Administer core platforms including Apache, PostgreSQL, Postfix, Nextcloud and Microsoft 365 integration.
• Automate operational processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with Development and QA teams, participate in on-call support and maintain system documentation.

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of Linux system administration experience in production environments.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills (AlmaLinux/RHEL preferred).
• Experience with AWS, Oracle Cloud or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of networking (VPN, DNS, firewalls), Apache, PostgreSQL and Postfix.
• Bash scripting skills; Ansible or similar automation tools are a plus.
• Good understanding of system security, backup and disaster recovery.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Experience with hybrid infrastructure (on-premises, cloud and containers).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus environments.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Single Sign-On (SSO).
