Senior Linux Systems Administrator

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator to support infrastructure operations in the financial market infrastructure sector. This opportunity is based in Porto, with a hybrid model (3x/week).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Administer, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Linux servers in standalone and clustered environments.

- Manage infrastructure changes through automation practices, ensuring controlled and traceable server operations.

- Support storage servers, SAN switches and VMware environments, including troubleshooting and operational maintenance.

- Collaborate with technical teams to analyze business requirements, connectivity needs, security policies and compliance rules.

- Help ensure the availability, performance and security of Linux platforms supporting critical business services.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- At least 5 years of experience in Linux systems administration.

- Professional working proficiency in English, minimum B2 level, both written and spoken.

- Strong organization, prioritization and time-management skills in complex infrastructure environments.

- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented approach, with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.

- Availability to work initially on-site in Porto, followed by a hybrid model with regular office presence.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
