Senior System Administrator

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support the management, security and continuous optimization of IT infrastructure in a professional services environment. This role is based in Lisbon, with a hybrid working model requiring office presence three days per week.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure and identity management environments.

- Manage users, permissions, devices, access policies and security controls across the IT infrastructure.

- Support network administration, including Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, DNS and DHCP.

- Ensure backup management, service continuity and disaster recovery readiness.

- Monitor infrastructure performance, analyze incidents and coordinate troubleshooting activities.

- Configure and maintain Azure DevOps environments, including projects, users, permissions and pipelines.

- Manage infrastructure documentation and provide technical coordination with external providers.

- Support information security and compliance requirements, including ISO/IEC 27001 and NIS2-related practices.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- At least 5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations or similar IT roles.

- Solid experience managing Microsoft cloud and endpoint environments in secure business contexts.

- Ability to work with autonomy, ownership and structured problem-solving in complex infrastructure scenarios.

- Professional working proficiency in English.

- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon, with office presence three days per week.

- Collaborative, responsible and solution-oriented mindset, with attention to documentation and service continuity.
