About the Role
The Senior Litigation Support Coordinator is responsible for advising the Firm, its attorneys, its paralegals and its clients on Firm preferred methods of organizing and automating the technical handling of client data in litigation, arbitration, securities, investigations and antitrust matters. They are responsible for identifying and assisting in the implementation of technologies that advance the cause of clients in specific matters and the firm and/or its practice groups in broader group-wide initiatives. The Senior Litigation Support Coordinator acts in a consulting capacity and operates as a time-keeper. They are expected to engage early in the life of matters, assess data and information needs, align with clients’ legal and strategic objectives, drive innovation and efficiency, identify the most cost-effective process and technology solutions that achieve proportionality and manage risk, assist in the acquisition and implementation of key technologies, and then effectively manage the delivery and successful use of those solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
Client Advisory and Solution Planning
- Consults and liaises directly with client IT and legal stakeholders to coordinate secure client data transfer and firm handling, analysis, review, and production of client data in support of firm’s legal representation
- Advises attorneys and clients on data analysis and case automation needs; assesses requirements, recommends technical workflows and tools, develops budgets, and executes project plans
- Evaluates emerging technologies with department stakeholders and supports their acquisition and implementation
Technology Implementation and Support
- Develops or coordinates specialized solutions utilizing traditional discovery tools and evolving GenAI technologies, oversees implementation, and integrates support of appropriate resources
- Provides remote and onsite review support, including equipment configuration, file staging and transfer, and technical reviewer guidance
- Troubleshoots litigation technology and network issues in collaboration with firm technology teams and vendors
Vendor Management and Protected Data
- Manages discovery vendors, including RFPs, proposal evaluation, work oversight, quality review, and invoice approval
- Collaborates with appropriate firm and external resources to ensure compliance with domestic and international data privacy requirements and other protected data categories
Leadership, Training, and Project Management
- Manages competing projects and priorities under time, cost, and resource pressure
- Facilitates compliance with client outside counsel guidelines impacting discovery and handling of client data
- Mentors colleagues, develops process and training materials, and delivers training on discovery technology tools and workflows to technical and legal audiences
Professionalism and Administration
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism, delivering high-quality service, and maintaining a positive, solution-oriented (“can-do”) approach. Effectively supports internal departments, external clients, and vendors through clear, courteous communication via electronic correspondence, telephone, and in-person interactions
- Operates as a timekeeper in a timekeeping environment
Required Skills
What You Will Bring to This Position
- Extensive knowledge of litigation, discovery, and disclosure practices in a law firm environment; strong familiarity with discovery, imaging, review, presentation, and analytics tools used throughout the discovery lifecycle; experience coordinating mobile, ephemeral messaging, and cloud data collection and processing with external service providers
- Experience with DISCO or other advanced review platforms, AI-enabled discovery, Continuous Active Learning (CAL), predictive coding, and technology-assisted review (TAR) strongly preferred
- Experience with GenAI tools to improve efficiency and support innovation and to provide custom legal solutions, assist with investigations, draft and test prompts, and validate GenAI process and outputs; knowledge of legal process automation
- Programming knowledge, including Visual Basic, C++, and HTML, helpful; knowledge of SQL, .NET, XML, and Concordance Programming Language (CPL) helpful; knowledge of relational database design and use, including Microsoft Access, strongly preferred
- Ability to explain the litigation data lifecycle, define user requirements, assess automation feasibility, and implement solutions while learning supporting technologies
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with exceptional attention to detail; proactive, thoughtful, timely issue identification; ability to manage competing assignments, navigate high-pressure situations, resolve conflict, and take ownership of client requests and team success
- Strong presentation and written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to attorneys, clients, and other non-technical audiences
- Highly effective collaboration with legal and technical stakeholders; ability to operate independently, exercising sound judgment and ownership in complex assignments, while serving as an engaged team member
Required Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience with legal technologies, including at least three (3) in an advisory capacity, preferably in a law firm or discovery vendor environment
- Complex project leadership experience required

- The hiring range for this position is $156,240 - $195,300 annually, with final compensation based on experience, qualifications and internal equity.
