Senior Management Accountant (CPA) | Work From Home | Day Shift
Pay: PHP 120,000/month
About the Company
We are an established Australian business with a growing team and operations supported by finance professionals based in the Philippines.
We foster a supportive, collaborative work environment where transparency, accountability, initiative, and clear communication are valued. We encourage our people to take ownership of their work, contribute ideas, and continuously look for ways to improve.
About the Role
We're looking for a highly experienced Senior Management Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team and provide senior-level financial expertise, leadership, and business insights.
This opportunity would suit someone who has previously held a senior finance leadership position, such as Finance Manager, Financial Controller, or CFO.
You'll play a key role in overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance while working closely with our existing finance team and senior management.
While you'll be expected to work independently and provide senior-level guidance, you'll also need to be comfortable working collaboratively within an established team and potentially reporting to an Australian-based financial leader as our business continues to grow.
What We're Looking For
Highly regarded:
- Significant experience working with Australian businesses, particularly in financial reporting and accounting practices.
- Previous experience living and working in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Canada.
- Experience working with complex business structures, including multiple companies, related entities, or trusts.
- Understanding of Australian taxation, payroll, and financial compliance requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
- Experience improving financial processes, budgeting systems, reporting, and internal controls.
- Background in wholesale, distribution, inventory-based businesses, or other complex commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and prepare accurate monthly Income Statements (P&L), Balance Sheets, and management financial reports.
- Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the business.
- Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful, practical insights to support management decisions.
- Work closely with the General Manager, senior leadership, and department heads to communicate financial results and recommendations.
- Review reconciliations, month-end adjustments, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide senior-level guidance, mentoring, and technical support to the existing finance team.
- Help coordinate finance operations while promoting accountability, collaboration, and clear communication.
- Identify financial risks, process inefficiencies, and opportunities to strengthen financial controls.
- Support improvements to financial reporting systems, budgeting processes, and ERP functionality.
- Assist with complex accounting matters and work collaboratively with Australian-based financial leadership or external advisers when required.
What's in It for You?
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shift (Australian business hours)
- Work Setup: Fully Remote / Work From Home
- Competitive salary commensurate with experience
- 13th month pay
- Additional leave benefits
- Stable, long-term employment with an established Australian business
- Opportunity to contribute your expertise and make a meaningful impact on business decisions
- Supportive, collaborative finance team and approachable leadership
- An opportunity to apply your senior-level experience in a hands-on role without the demands of a traditional corporate executive position
Ready to Join Us?
If you're an experienced finance professional who has held senior leadership responsibilities, enjoys working collaboratively, and can bring both technical expertise and practical business insights to a growing company, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now and bring your experience to a business where your expertise, initiative, and contributions will be genuinely valued.
Requirements

- Strong hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Income Statements (Profit & Loss), Balance Sheets, and management reports.
- Advanced experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, reconciliations, month-end processes, and internal controls.
- Ability to interpret financial results, identify business risks, and provide practical recommendations to management.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Experience working directly with senior management and shareholders.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and take ownership of financial responsibilities.
- A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to mentor and support colleagues while respecting established team responsibilities.
