Show job description

We’re building a world of health around every individual — shaping a more connected, convenient and compassionate health experience. At CVS Health®, you’ll be surrounded by passionate colleagues who care deeply, innovate with purpose, hold ourselves accountable and prioritize safety and quality in everything we do. Join us and be part of something bigger – helping to simplify health care one person, one family and one community at a time.

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Business Consulting to serve as a strategic advisor and delivery leader supporting our Medicare sales organization. You will bridge the gap between data science, operations, and business strategy — translating analytical insights into executable recommendations and leading consulting engagements that drive enrollment growth, sales effectiveness, and market competitiveness across Medicare Advantage and Part D.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end consulting engagements for Medicare sales stakeholders — from problem framing and scoping through analysis, recommendations, and implementation support
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Data Science teams to identify business challenges and design data-informed solutions
  • Develop and present executive-level deliverables: strategic roadmaps, business cases, performance assessments, and go-to-market recommendations
  • Translate complex data outputs from analytics and data science teams into clear, actionable business narratives
  • Lead Medicare market assessments, competitive analyses, and sales channel optimization initiatives
  • Support annual planning cycles including AEP readiness, territory planning, and sales force sizing
  • Drive change management and adoption efforts when new strategies or tools are introduced to the sales organization
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the consulting practice's impact across the enterprise

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, business strategy, or sales operations
  • 3+ years of domain experience in Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D, or managed care
  • Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and deliver results in a matrixed organization
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable working with data, interpreting models, and building business cases
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills; experience presenting to VP/C-suite audiences
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Medicare distribution channels: FMOs, IMOs, captive agents, telesales, or digital acquisition
  • Familiarity with CMS regulatory requirements, MCMG guidelines, and Medicare compliance frameworks
  • Experience with sales performance measurement, incentive compensation design, or broker/agent management
  • Comfort partnering with data science teams to co-develop analytics-driven consulting solutions

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; MBA or Master's in a related field strongly preferred or rel. work experience
