In this role, the Senior Manager will partner with health system executives, clinical leaders, operational stakeholders, and informatics teams to advise clients on technology-enabled clinical transformation, including clinical informatics, Epic readiness, workflow redesign, stakeholder engagement, organizational change, adoption planning, governance, and value realization. This individual will lead complex client engagements, translating clinical, operational, and technology considerations into actionable recommendations that align with organizational priorities.

Beyond client delivery, the Senior Manager will contribute to the continued growth of the practice through business development, thought leadership, and the mentorship of junior team members. As a trusted advisor and engagement leader, this individual will play an important role in strengthening client relationships, delivering measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Advise on governance, decision-making, accountability, and risk mitigation strategies that support successful transformation

  • Assess organizational readiness, evaluate clinical workflows and end-user impacts, and develop practical strategies that drive adoption, improve performance, and support long-term transformation.

  • Lead readiness and informatics workstreams across Epic implementation, optimization, refuel, and broader transformation efforts

  • Help clients define, measure, and realize value from EHR and digital transformation investments through clear success measures, accountability, and sustainability plans

  • Develop compelling recommendations that help clients understand the need for change, illustrate the complexities and implications of transformation, and influence stakeholders to align around decisions and take action.

  • Apply thought leadership to client engagements by developing practical frameworks, methods, and approaches that improve delivery quality and create broader impact across the firm

  • Build and maintain trust-based relationships with existing and prospective clients

  • Coach and mentor client leaders and Chartis colleagues through practical, apprenticeship-based learning

  • Foster collaboration within engagement teams, across practices, and throughout the firm

  • Help maintain a collaborative culture that attracts, develops, and retains mission-driven consulting professionals
