About the Team The Senior Manager - Consulting will join the Nutanix Customer Success team, based in Pune, India. This dynamic team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes using Nutanix solutions. The mission of Nutanix Customer Success is to empower customers with trusted resources and expert guidance, making their experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure solutions seamless and effective. You will report to the Director of Professional Services, known for a hands-on leadership style that emphasizes mentorship and open communication. The manager cultivates an environment that encourages team members to take initiative and think independently while providing guidance when necessary. This position is hybrid, requiring the hire to work on-site in the office a few days each week, allowing for a balance of remote and in-person collaboration. This role may involve approximately 15% travel, allowing for opportunities to engage directly with clients and support their needs on-site. Travel will primarily focus on key project deliverables and customer engagements, ensuring that the Senior Manager can effectively address client requirements. Your Role Lead and manage a team of Consultants and Senior Consultants to achieve customer outcomes and project deliverables. Administer and support Nutanix and VMware environments, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting support. Develop architectural strategies in collaboration with architecture and engineering teams to enhance customer benefits. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering insights on best practices for Nutanix and VMware technologies. Drive effective project management, ensuring customer satisfaction through a customer-centric approach. Generate growth plans based on customer trends and deliver detailed performance reports to stakeholders. Foster a culture of collaboration, education, and professional development within the team. Achieve defined first-year objectives focusing on team performance, customer engagement, and successful project completion. What You Will Bring Minimum of 10 years of experience in virtualization consulting, with strong VMware and Nutanix expertise. At least 3 years of experience in managing technical teams and fostering collaborative environments. Deep understanding of VMware ESX, data center virtualization, and related technologies. Proficient in troubleshooting and administering Nutanix/VMware environments. Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills to engage with customers effectively. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems (MIS) preferred. Hands-on experience with Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Platform and relevant certifications (NCP, VCAP/VCIX-DCV) are advantageous. Ability to drive project management initiatives while maintaining a customer-centric approach. Work Arrangement Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. In locations where our workplace policy applies (i.e. San Jose, Durham, Mexico City, Bangalore, Pune, Hoofddorp, Belgrade, Barcelona, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo), employees are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week to foster collaboration, team alignment, and access to in-office resources.
