Position Overview

The Senior Manager of Forecasting & Analytics will be responsible for building and maintaining the core forecasting infrastructure and associated analytics. This role will lead the development and execution of robust, data-driven revenue and demand forecasts for VDPHL01, integrating primary market research, competitive intelligence, and secondary data sources (e.g., IQVIA, claims data) into sophisticated short- and long-range forecast models. In addition, this role will create, refine, and maintain the reporting and analytics framework to assess ongoing business performance, understand variances and inform future modifications to commercial priorities.

This is a highly hands-on role in a lean organization, requiring an individual who can design and build reporting, analytics, and operational processes from scratch while ensuring they are scalable and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting
  • Partner across commercial teams to operationalize forecasting models and scenario analyses.
  • Evaluate new potential data sources to continually refine and elevate the sophistication of the forecast model and understand variances to forecast.
  • Maintain and refine forecasting inputs, assumptions, and outputs as new data becomes available.
  • Partner with Commercial Finance and Supply Chain to develop, refine, and maintain robust forecast models and scenarios to support financial planning and S&OP processes.
  • Support long-range planning and commercial strategy development.
Analytics & Reporting
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned to launch and revenue objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews in partnership with all commercial teams, utilizing all available data sources to guide executive decision-making and formulate any potential changes to the forecast (LE).
  • Assist in the development of commercial dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) from the ground up.
  • Analyze revenue and sales performance to understand variances and opportunities related to the forecast.
  • Partner with insights to evolve market research (quantitative and qualitative) in support of forecast refinement and future brand strategy.
  • Analyze multiple data sources to generate insights and understand implications to the forecast and commercial prioritization.
Cross-Functional Execution & Launch Readiness
  • Partner with Finance and the commercial teams.
  • Ensure analytics and reporting capabilities are ready for launch.
  • Identify and solve gaps quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Profile | Who You Are

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in pharma/biotech forecasting and commercial analytics.
  • Launch Experience a plus: Experience supporting pre-launch or launch-stage assets.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in BI tools (Tableau, Power BI), commercial data sources (IQVIA, Symphony), and programs / platforms commonly leveraged to create and maintain forecast models.
  • Competencies: Highly execution-oriented and strong problem-solving skills.

Location and Travel

  • Location: Hybrid – Yardley, Pennsylvania (1–2 days per week in office)
  • Travel: ~10–20% (internal meetings, sales meetings, conferences)
