You lead transparently, ensuring information is shared and your team feel a sense of connection.
Work in an organisation based on purpose, structure and process. You know that to make a meaningful contribution to our community and economy, there needs to be diligence in our operations.
In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of the Government & Parliamentary Services Branch within the Government Business & Services unit, leading a team (x13) to navigate Government, Ministerial and Parliamentary priorities.
You will lead a high-performing team responsible for the delivery of ministerial and parliamentary products, ensuring responses are accurate, timely, and aligned with government priorities and expectations.
You will provide leadership on complex, sensitive, and high-profile matters while balancing competing priorities and critical deadlines. Drawing on your understanding of the political environment, government priorities and the business areas you support, you will guide the delivery of well-informed, fit-for-purpose responses and advice. By building strong relationships across the organisation, you will drive collaboration, manage risks, and ensure quality outcomes.
You will drive a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and service excellence, empowering your team to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced setting. With responsibility for both people leadership and service delivery, you will oversee quality assurance, champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities to strengthen processes, build capability and enhance outcomes for Ministers, Parliament and stakeholders.
This position is a permanent position. Employees are expected to attend a Transport for NSW workplace for a minimum of 50% of working days each month, including one day per week at Macquarie Park (homebase) and one day in the CBD. The balance of office attendance may be undertaken from another Transport for NSW office location, subject to business needs.
