Summary:

The Senior Manager, GTM Strategy, Planning & Execution leads the strategy and integrated execution of ADT’s most important go-to-market moments, including new product launches, feature introductions, and other growth initiatives.

This leader connects Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Technology, Operations and other teams around a clear strategy, integrated plan, and measurable outcomes. The role requires the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution: structuring complex problems, making clear choices, aligning senior stakeholders, and driving the organization from idea through in-market performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Set GTM strategy: Define the go-to-market strategy for new products, features, offers, and other priority growth initiatives; identify audiences and tying them to products and offers.

  • Build the integrated plan: Translate strategy into clear objectives, workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and measures of success.

  • Build GTM discipline and connect the enterprise: Develop repeatable planning, governance, measurement, and post-launch practices that increase the speed and effectiveness of future launches. Align Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Technology, Operations, and other partners around one integrated plan.

  • Drive execution: Methodically lead cross-functional teams on a regular cadence from strategy through launch, ensuring teams remain aligned, dependencies are resolved, and commitments are delivered.

  • Ensure launch readiness: Establish the qualitative & quantitative heuristics that we will use to measure health of any given GTM launch plan.

  • Drive decisions: Bring structure to complex or ambiguous issues, frame choices and trade-offs, and enable timely executive decisions.

  • Manage to outcomes: Establish clear success measures upfront and track performance against business goals, including demand, sales, installs, revenue, and acquisition economics.

  • Set scalable foundation: translate learnings into scalable & repeatable playbook for subsequent GTM moments that matter.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strategic & Analytical Thinking: Exceptional ability to structure complex problems, synthesize data and insights, and translate them into clear strategic choices.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of B2C growth, customer acquisition, performance marketing, sales conversion, and unit economics.

  • GTM Leadership: Deep understanding of how Product, Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Technology, Finance, and Operations come together to bring products to market.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to align and mobilize teams across functions without relying on direct authority.

  • Execution Excellence: Ability to translate strategy into action and manage multiple interconnected workstreams with speed and rigor.

  • Executive Communication: Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior leaders.

  • Outcome Orientation: Strong bias toward measurable business impact, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in go-to-market strategy, growth, product marketing, commercial strategy, management consulting, or related roles.

  • Significant experience in a B2C business, ideally with high-volume customer acquisition and sales.
  • Demonstrated experience leading new product introductions, feature launches, or major commercial initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong working knowledge of growth and performance marketing, customer acquisition, funnel management, and sales conversion.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Pricing, Technology, and/or Operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to turn data and ambiguity into clear recommendations and action.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous strategy and problem-solving environment.

  • Experience in a consumer subscription, home services, telecommunications, technology, or other high-velocity B2C business.
  • Experience working across both digital and assisted-sales journeys.
  • Strong understanding of acquisition economics and performance measures such as customer acquisition cost, cost per sale/install, conversion, revenue, and customer value.
  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.

Location:

  • Hybrid/4 days in office (Continually=67-100% of the workday)

Travel:

  • Occasionally, less than 25%
