Senior Manager / Manager – Coal Road Transportation

Job Description This is a remote position. Job Title 2 postions Senior Manager/ Manager Coal Road Transportation Department- Operation Location ANDRA PRADESH , MADHYA PRADESH , UTTAR PRADES , RAJASTHAN , ODISHA Job responsibilities Plan and optimize manpower, machinery, vendor resources, diesel, and other materials required for efficient project execution. Liaise with local government authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth project operations and statutory compliance. Identify, evaluate, and finalize lifters/transporters for coal lifting and road transportation based on capacity, compliance, and cost-efficiency. Maintain a vetted panel of reliable lifters to ensure smooth coal movement. Maintain regular and professional communication with the client to update on ongoing work, dispatch schedules, and completed activities. Act as the primary point of contact for client coordination related to coal road transportation, resolving issues promptly. Liaise with clients to obtain Dispatch Orders (DOs) from respective Project Sites as per operational feasibility and commercial priority. Ensure DOs are aligned with lifting schedules and logistic plans. Oversee planning, allocation, and scheduling of vehicle deployment, considering DO quantity, lifter availability, and route conditions. Ensure compliance with route permissions, safety norms, and legal documentation (e.g., mining challans, forest challans, e-way bills). Track coal dispatch progress daily against DO targets and client requirements. Implement corrective actions to avoid delays, demurrage, or under-lifting & over-lifting. Coordinate with site teams, weighbridges, and logistics personnel for seamless operations. Review and finalize the report, then share it with management and clients, covering lifting status, trip details, and vehicle performance. Monitor transporter payments, rate finalization, and ensure cost-effective coal road dispatch operations. ­Ensure all dispatch-related documents are complete, accurate, and archived. Oversee adherence to all statutory and environmental regulations during coal transportation.
