Working closely with regional sales leadership and global marketing teams, you will develop and deliver marketing programmes that strengthen our market presence, generate demand and contribute to pipeline and revenue growth.
A key focus of this role will be events and field marketing, including ownership of our flagship European customer event, industry conferences, roadshows and targeted customer engagement activities.
You will also lead integrated regional marketing initiatives spanning account-based marketing (ABM), digital, content and demand generation, ensuring our activities are aligned with commercial priorities and resonate with the European higher education market.
This is an opportunity for an experienced B2B marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, brings strong knowledge of the higher education sector and enjoys developing people, building relationships and delivering measurable results.
Where you will make an impact
Lead the European marketing strategy, developing regional plans, priorities and campaigns aligned with sales objectives and global marketing initiatives.
Own our flagship European customer event and wider field marketing programme, including industry conferences, roadshows and executive events, ensuring they deliver meaningful engagement and commercial value.

Oversee regional digital, social and content marketing, ensuring consistent messaging, strong audience engagement and effective demand generation.
Lead and develop a Digital Content Marketer, providing direction, coaching and support to deliver against regional objectives.
Develop integrated campaigns to support key business priorities, including Ellucian Student modernisation, ERP growth and new product introductions.
Collaborate with global marketing teams to adapt campaigns, content and messaging for European markets, ensuring a joined-up approach across channels.
Manage regional marketing budgets, agencies and resources, prioritising investment and measuring performance against engagement, pipeline and revenue objectives.
Represent the European market within the wider marketing organisation, sharing customer insights, market trends and opportunities to influence future strategies.
What you will bring
8+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally within SaaS, enterprise technology, higher education or a similarly complex environment, including regional or multi-market responsibilities.
Proven experience leading regional marketing strategies, teams or significant marketing programmes, balancing strategic planning with hands-on delivery.
Strong events and field marketing experience, including the planning and delivery of large-scale customer events, industry conferences and targeted engagement programmes.
Experience developing and delivering account-based marketing (ABM) and integrated demand generation campaigns in partnership with sales teams.
Broad knowledge of digital marketing, content, social media, campaigns and marketing channels, with an understanding of how they contribute to commercial objectives.
A strong understanding of the European market, particularly the UK and Ireland, ideally with knowledge of the higher education sector and its challenges.
Experience managing and developing people, with the ability to provide clear direction, encourage collaboration and support professional growth.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders and build effective relationships across regional and global teams.
A commercially focused and analytical approach, with experience managing budgets, measuring campaign effectiveness and demonstrating marketing's contribution to pipeline and revenue.
