Your role at a glance

Reporting into the APAC region Senior Director of Construction, the Senior Manager, Program Delivery - Thailand is responsible to lead the planning and execution of large-scale data centre construction projects exceeding USD 200M in Thailand. The successful candidate will lead and oversee all aspects of project delivery from pre-construction planning through handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What we are looking for

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of complex data centre construction projects exceeding USD 200M in Thailand.
  • Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risk, and resources throughout the construction lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans incorporating best practices for data centre construction.
  • Coordinate and integrate activities across multiple work streams including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical and network infrastructure.
  • Select, onboard, and manage local contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure performance meets or exceeds project requirements.
  • Build and lead high-performing project teams, both direct reports and cross functional partners.
  • Implement robust project controls including cost tracking, progress reporting, scheduling, and change management.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, local regulations, building codes, and industry best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks through proactive planning and continuous monitoring.
  • Conduct and/or ensure regular progress meetings with stakeholders, contractors, and team members. These meetings include but not limited to: Coordination, Owner/Architect/Contractor, Pull Planning (schedule) sessions, Design Management, QAQC & Commissioning and Room Ready/Handover.
  • Manage quality control processes in coordination with the regional Quality Manager.
  • Manage commissioning activities in coordination with the regional Cx Program Manager to ensure smooth transition from construction to operations.
  • Foster positive relationships with local authorities, utility providers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Provide regular status updates and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, operations, finance, and internal department leaders.
  • Integrate Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to support design and create master development programs for site(s).
  • Support design team leadership for environmental, entitlement and permitting requirements.
  • Implement communication plans and project documentation governance.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for vendor selection, award, and contracts.
  • Assess and quantify change requests to determine impacts to scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk.
  • Optimize project cost effectiveness through constructability reviews and Value Engineering.
  • Validate drawings and specifications reflect desired construction quality and ensure proper remediation.
  • Develop and implement systems to deliver highest quality standards for project safety.
  • Monitor and control risk management insurance and liability controls.
  • Present executive summaries and status reports to senior leadership.
  • Provide on-site support for sales and marketing team to present company values to prospective clients.

Knowledge & Attributes:

  • Understanding of Project Management, Planning, Construction Management, and Data Centers.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability in dealing with Owners, Architects, Contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Extensive knowledge of prime contracts including lump sum, GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price), hard bid, negotiated, design-build, etc. Specifically including EVM methods and payment systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of P6 Critical path scheduling systems, overall project cost control, budgeting, and value engineering as applied to buildings and systems used in Data Center project delivery
  • Familiarity of all aspects of Development design and Construction- to include site work, core, and shell, mechanical and electrical, utilities, finishes, etc.
  • Ability to work in an international team environment and interact with all levels of management, including C-Suite reviews.
  • Strong executive presence – able to convey complex and technical concepts to a non-construction audience.
  • Must be highly organized, analytical, and structured with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manages stress and/or fast pace effectively.

Academic Qualifications & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, construction management or relevant field required.

Required Experience:

Work Conditions & Other Requirements:

  • 100%: Construction jobsite at various levels of development.
  • Valid passport allowing travel within the APAC region at times.
