Description
The Senior Manager, Program Management, is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, execution and optimization of strategic priority marketing initiatives for the Marketing, Brand and Digital function. This role is responsible for standing up and establishing program management best practices for the Marketing function, ensuring cross-functional alignment, mentoring and executing disciplined program management and successful delivery and acceleration of marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is a highly organized leader with strong stakeholder management skills, experience managing complex marketing or digital programs with a proven ability to drive outcomes in a fast-paced, global environment.
This role cab be based in St Louis, MO; Sidney, OH or Boise, ID.
As theSenior Manager, Program Management, you will focus on:
Program Management Operational Excellence & Governance
- In partnership with the Enterprise PMO, leverage, improve and create standard work to align with enterprise and industry best practices
- Develop program plans, timelines, milestones, governance structures and success metrics for the program management discipline
- Leverage and continuously improve program management processes, best practices and operating rhythms
- Create executive-ready status updates, dashboards, scorecards and business reviews
- Monitor program performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and impact
- Ensure adherence to budget, compliance and organizational standards
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous improvement and program and project management rigor within the Marketing team
Program Strategy & Execution
- Lead end-to-end management of large-scale marketing programs and strategic initiatives with alignment to annual/long-term marketing and business strategy
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives
- Identify risks, dependencies and resource requirements, proactively driving mitigation plans
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner closely with all Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand function leaders as well as external agencies
- Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to ensure coordinated execution of marketing initiatives
- Drive effective communication, decision-making and issue resolution across teams
Stakeholder Management
- Act as key liaison between Marketing and other functions, ensuring alignment and effective communication between shared initiatives
- Prepare presentations, reports and communications for senior leadership
- Provide visibility into program health, key decisions, risks and business outcomes
- Influence stakeholders at all levels through data-driven recommendations and strategic insights
Required education, experiences & skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in program management, project management, marketing operations, or similar leadership role
- 3+ years in managing complex, cross-functional marketing projects within a corporate or enterprise environment
- Experience managing team members and/or other project managers
- Proficiency in program/project management tools (e.g., CORA, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of LEAN principles and their application in marketing operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze performance metrics, and deliver results
