Working as part of our Internal Audit leadership team, you'll partner with executives, project sponsors and senior stakeholders across the organisation to provide trusted insights that strengthen decision-making and support successful project outcomes.

You'll make an impact by:

  • Leading independent project and programme audits across the Bank's enterprise portfolio and key strategic initiatives.
  • Developing and enhancing Internal Audit’s project audit methodology and approach.
  • Assessing project governance, delivery risks, controls, financial oversight and programme performance.
  • Providing clear, practical and commercially focused assurance recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Identifying themes and emerging risks across projects and escalating insights that matter most to the Bank.
  • Building trusted relationships with executives, programme sponsors and delivery leaders across the organisation.
  • Presenting audit outcomes and assurance findings to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of Internal Audit practices and mentoring team members through coaching and guidance.

What you'll bring:

  • Significant experience in project audit, project assurance, programme assurance or a similar governance and risk-focused role.
  • Strong understanding of project governance frameworks, delivery methodologies, risk management and control environments.
  • Experience providing independent challenge and assurance to executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Exposure to transformation, technology or strategic change programs.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify risks, evaluate controls and provide practical recommendations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence at senior levels.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, accounting, technology, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CIA or equivalent will be highly regarded.
