Position Summary:
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain’s primary responsibility is to maximize fill rate while planning and managing inventory to optimize time supply. This position will drive and be responsible for achieving customer metrics, minimizing distribution costs, and ensuring continuous supply. This role will interface with Sourcing, Customer Service, Finance, Logistics and Distribution to develop distribution plans, inventory strategies and tactics, and metrics to manage finished goods and service customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, develop, and support team members to ensure goals and objectives are met, supporting the individual growth of each associate.
- Provide leadership to key Supply Chain continuous improvement programs and projects to drive material flow. Document Standard Operating Procedures within Supply Chain Planning. Act as a Lean/Six Sigma advocate with the purpose of driving cost out of the Supply Chain.
- Lead in partnership with supply planning & purchasing new standard process creation for daily planning and purchasing activities, along with the product change request process.
- Work with Demand Planning, Purchasing, and Distribution Schedulers to synchronize throughput from finished goods and raw material suppliers through final distribution. Help manage backorder fulfillment, outage situations, promotional programs and product launches. Streamline these activities with open communication, process and coordination of activities.
- Create roles and responsibilities in partnership with distribution leadership & Senior Manager, Supply Planning on new intercompany transfer processes.
- Work in conjunction with the Senior Manager, Demand Planning to understand customer requirements and work towards balanced inventory planning.
- Analyze imported product distribution flow and update hub and spoke process as needed to minimize distribution and handling costs.
- Develop processes and reporting related to date delivery accuracy to ensure purchase order and inventory accuracy.
- Work in conjunction with the sourcing team to create and develop existing strategic relationships with key suppliers to optimize supply chain performance.
- Drive creation of metrics & healthchecks to ensure continuous flow of bought finished goods and imported raw materials at lowest possible cost.
- Responsible for order placement timing, supply/demand alignment, raw material replenishment and monitoring/improving supplier performance.

Knowledge and Experience:
- Eight (8) to twelve (12) years of corporate Supply Chain experience.
- Two (2) to four (4) years of successful managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility within the Supply Chain preferred.
- Association for Supply Chain Management (APICS)/Supply Chain certifications preferred, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
- Balanced experience in planning and operations considered a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership in a LEAN/6Sigma environment.
- Knowledge of Oatey industry and markets helpful.
Education and Certification:
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related program, or equivalent related experience.
Physical Activities and Other Working Conditions:
- Associates working at Corporate sites are required to work in-person according to the Hybrid & Remote Workplace Policy.
- This role is primarily sedentary and involves prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Regular use of hands for typing and operating office equipment is required, along with visual focus on screens and documents. Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 10–15 pounds may be required. Work is performed in a climate-controlled office or remote environment with moderate noise levels.
- Minimal travel is required.
Compensation Range for the Position:
$101,974.00 - $132,566.00 - $163,158.00 USDTarget Cash Profit Sharing for the Position:
15.00%Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
