We are searching for a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition – Global Medical Affairs & Cell Therapy Practice to be located in Horsham or Spring House, Pennsylvania United States.

A pre-identified candidate for consideration has been identified. However, all applications will be considered.

Purpose: The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition – Global Medical Affairs & Cell Therapy Practice is a strategic talent leader responsible for continuing to shape/evolve and executing global talent acquisition strategies across Medical Affairs and Cell Therapy. This role leads a team of talent acquisition professionals, including a people manager, and partners closely with business, HR, and talent leaders to anticipate critical capability needs, build proactive talent pipelines, and influence the talent agenda. The role pairs best-in-class recruiting expertise with AI to deliver proactive, high-impact value to the organization.

The role will bring a market-maker mindset, deep business acumen, and strong talent advisory capabilities to a broad global remit spanning Medical Affairs across therapeutic areas—including Oncology, Immunology, Neuroscience, and Regional Medical Affairs, as well as the Cell Therapy practice.

Key Responsibilities

Global Medical Affairs Talent Strategy

  • Own the global Talent Acquisition Practice strategy for Medical Affairs across therapeutic areas and regions.
  • Establish deep partnerships with Medical Affairs leadership and earn a consistent seat at the table in leadership meetings, talent reviews, succession discussions, and workforce planning conversations.
  • Build and execute proactive talent strategies for critical and emerging capabilities, including confidential searches and succession-focused pipeline development.
  • Develop deep internal and external talent pipelines that enable the organization to anticipate needs rather than react to vacancies.
  • Generate external and internal talent insights and translate them into actionable recommendations that influence business and talent decisions.

Cell Therapy Practice Leadership

  • Lead Talent Acquisition Practice strategy for Cell Therapy as an important growth area, leveraging relevant R&D and technical talent-market expertise.
  • Build a robust understanding of the Cell Therapy talent ecosystem, critical capabilities, competitors, and emerging talent pools.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to define forward-looking talent priorities and create sustainable pipelines for scarce and strategically important capabilities.

Market Leadership & Talent Intelligence

  • Serve as an established market expert and trusted talent advisor within the Medical Affairs and Cell Therapy talent communities.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of business priorities, long-term strategic focus areas, critical capabilities, competitor activity, and the external talent landscape.
  • Use market intelligence, talent insights, internal talent availability, and prior hiring outcomes to inform talent and location strategies.
  • Expand networks and advocacy across Medical Affairs therapeutic areas and Cell Therapy, strengthening access to high-value internal and external talent communities.

Conference & Talent Community Strategy

  • Shape and execute a focused conference and congress strategy aligned to priority talent segments across Medical Affairs and Cell Therapy.
  • Ensure conference activity translates into sustained relationships, proactive pipelines, candidate engagement, and business insights.
  • Drive shared accountability and proactive submittals in collaboration with key business leaders
  • Shape proactive engagements to support key pipelines of niche talent or where we have gaps in succession plans

People & Practice Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of talent acquisition professionals, including a people manager.
  • Create a laser-focused operating approach that reinforces Practice expectations, accountability, collaboration, and consistent execution.
  • Coach the team to meet and exceed key Practice behaviors and KPIs, including deep pipeline development, proactive candidate submissions, conference execution, creation and use of talent insights, and expansion of stakeholder advocates.
  • Build team capability in talent advisory, market mapping, candidate engagement, stakeholder management, and strategic account management.
  • Bring the broader Medical Affairs Practice together around common standards, priorities, and ways of working, reducing unnecessary activity and increasing collective impact.

Stakeholder & Candidate Leadership

  • Build trusted relationships with senior business leaders, BUHR, HR partners, and other key stakeholders to shape enterprise talent strategies.
  • Deliver strong candidate care and relationship management throughout the talent lifecycle, particularly for strategically important and confidential talent.
  • Operate as a strategic account leader who understands stakeholder priorities, challenges assumptions when appropriate, and uses evidence to influence decisions.
  • Create additional advocates for the Talent Acquisition Practice across Medical Affairs therapeutic areas and Cell Therapy.

Measures of Success

Success in this role will be demonstrated through:

  • Strength and depth of proactive pipelines for critical capabilities.
  • Consistent generation of high-quality proactive candidate submissions.
  • Effective execution and measurable value from priority conference strategies.
  • Quality and application of internal and external talent insights to influence stakeholders and talent decisions.
  • Growth in trusted stakeholder relationships and Practice advocates across Medical Affairs and Cell Therapy.
  • Strong team performance against Practice behaviors and KPIs.
  • Increased consistency, focus, and collaboration across the broader Medical Affairs Talent Acquisition Practice.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant Talent Acquisition experience in complex, global organizations, with demonstrated expertise in strategic recruiting, talent advisory, and proactive pipeline development.
  • Deep knowledge of Medical Affairs, R&D, life sciences, or similarly specialized technical talent markets; experience supporting Cell Therapy or other highly specialized scientific talent segments is strongly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and translate it into forward-looking talent acquisition strategies.
  • Experience partnering with senior business and HR leaders and influencing talent, succession, and workforce discussions through data and market insight.
  • Strong candidate relationship management, stakeholder management, and account management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated people leadership and coaching capability, including experience developing recruiters and/or people managers.
  • Experience leading complex global or cross-country recruiting strategies and coordinating effectively across regional and local recruiting partners.

Leadership Profile

The successful leader will combine deep market expertise with enterprise thinking, disciplined execution, and a strong coaching orientation. They will be comfortable moving between strategic talent discussions with senior leaders and hands-on guidance to a recruiting team, while creating clarity, focus, and accountability. Above all, they will operate as a proactive talent advisor—building the pipelines, insights, relationships, and organizational capability required to stay ahead of future Medical Affairs and Cell Therapy talent needs.
