At PetVet Care Centers, our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people — providing exceptional and compassionate care at every stage — for all the moments that matter.

Because life is better with pets.

We deliver the Ultimate Care Experience — every pet, every client, every time. That starts with a Culture of Care that supports our team members as much as the pets and clients we serve.

With more than 400 locally led hospitals and over 11,000 team members nationwide, we offer:

  • Local autonomy with national support
  • Career mobility and development opportunities
  • A collaborative, inclusive environment where your wellbeing comes first

You care for pets. We care for you.

Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Talent Attraction & Recruitment Marketing to help strengthen how we attract, engage, and convert talent across PetVet. This role will develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies for priority hiring needs across clinical, hospital, field leadership, corporate, and other hard-to-fill roles.

The Senior Manager will lead targeted campaigns, conference and event programs, vendor partnerships, and recruitment marketing initiatives designed to increase candidate engagement and build stronger talent pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who can think strategically while staying close to execution. You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition leaders, recruiters, Operations, Marketing, and other stakeholders to turn hiring needs into practical, measurable talent attraction programs.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment Marketing & Talent Attraction:

  • Develop and execute recruitment marketing strategies for priority roles, markets, and talent segments.
  • Translate hiring needs into targeted attraction plans by role, geography, function, and candidate audience.
  • Build quarterly recruitment marketing plans with clear priorities, channels, budgets, and performance goals.
  • Lead multi-channel campaigns across social, email, CRM, digital advertising, search, job boards, referrals, professional communities, and events.
  • Develop targeted campaigns for clinical, hospital, field leadership, corporate, and other hard-to-fill roles.
  • Partner with recruiters to strengthen top-of-funnel activity and improve conversion from lead to recruiter conversation, application, and hire.
  • Test and refine messaging, audiences, channels, and outreach strategies based on results.

Conference & Event Marketing:

  • Lead recruitment marketing for conferences, career fairs, association events, campus programs, and other talent-focused events.
  • Help develop the annual event calendar based on hiring priorities and target audiences.
  • Identify conferences, sponsorships, and event opportunities with strong lead-generation potential.
  • Manage pre-event outreach, candidate targeting, digital promotion, onsite engagement, and post-event follow-up strategies.
  • Partner with recruiters to ensure event leads are captured, routed, and followed up consistently.
  • Track event results, including lead volume, candidate engagement, conversion, applications, hires, and ROI.
  • Use event performance data to recommend changes to future participation and investment.

Campaign Execution & Optimization:

  • Lead recruitment marketing campaigns from planning through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Define target audiences, messaging, creative needs, channel mix, and conversion goals.
  • Coordinate with internal partners, agencies, and vendors to bring campaigns to market.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments to improve engagement and results.
  • Develop repeatable campaign approaches and playbooks for recurring hiring needs.

Recruitment Brand & Content:

  • Help develop audience-specific messaging for different talent segments and hiring needs.
  • Support storytelling around clinicians, hospital teams, leadership, career growth, culture, and employee experiences.
  • Ensure recruitment marketing materials and campaigns align with broader brand standards and candidate messaging.

Data, Insights & Reporting:

  • Track key recruitment marketing metrics, including engagement, leads, applications, source effectiveness, conversion, and hires.
  • Use recruiting data and market insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations on campaign, channel, event, and vendor performance.
  • Develop concise reporting for Talent Acquisition leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Partner with recruiters and TA leaders to identify markets and roles that may benefit from additional marketing support.

Vendor & Partner Management:

  • Manage relationships with recruitment marketing vendors, agencies, media platforms, event partners, sourcing providers, and other external partners.
  • Set clear expectations and monitor partner performance.
  • Lead regular performance reviews and identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and ROI.
  • Recommend changes to vendors, channels, or investments based on performance.

Team Partnership & Best Practices:

  • Serve as a recruitment marketing resource to recruiters and Talent Acquisition leaders.
  • Share best practices related to candidate engagement, CRM usage, campaign support, event follow-up, and sourcing channels.
  • Help develop practical tools, templates, and playbooks that improve consistency across the recruiting team.
  • Stay current on emerging trends in recruitment marketing, digital media, AI, recruiting technology, and candidate behavior.

Qualifications (Required)

  • 7+ years of experience in recruitment marketing and talent attraction experience.
  • Experience developing and executing recruitment marketing campaigns across multiple roles, functions, or geographies.
  • Strong hands-on experience with digital recruitment marketing, campaign management, sourcing channels, or candidate engagement.
  • Experience managing conferences, events, sponsorships, or other lead-generation programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM, digital media, job advertising, paid social, sourcing platforms, and recruitment marketing tools.
  • Experience using data and performance metrics to improve campaigns and recruiting outcomes.
  • Strong vendor or agency management experience.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience within healthcare, veterinary medicine, or another large, multi-site organization.
  • Experience supporting multiple talent segments, including clinical, operational, leadership, and corporate roles.
  • Experience with programmatic advertising, paid social, search, CRM automation, or recruitment media.
  • Experience managing national or regional conferences and association partnerships.
