At Insmed, every moment and every patient counts — and so does every person who joins in. As a global biopharmaceutical company dedicated to transforming the lives of patients with serious and rare diseases, you’ll be part of a community that prioritizes the human experience, celebrates curiosity, and values every person’s contributions to meaningful progress. That commitment has earned us recognition as Science magazine’s No. 1 Top Employer for five consecutive years, certification as a Great Place to Work® in the U.S., and a place on The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list in the UK.

For patients, for each other, and for the future of science, we’re in. Are you?

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Manager, Talent Discovery & Selection, to help us expand what's possible for patients with serious diseases. Reporting to the Director, Talent Discovery & Selection, the Senior Manager will lead recruiting for assigned functional areas, shaping strategies, processes, and programs that attract and deliver high-quality talent to Insmed.

In this hands-on role, you’ll source, screen, and interview candidates while building networks and talent pipelines. You’ll partner closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Total Rewards, and Talent Development & Transformation to align hiring priorities and lead an effective, end-to-end recruiting process.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to identify, assess, and recommend qualified candidates while serving as a trusted internal talent advisor, providing strategic guidance and thought partnership to hiring managers, business partners, and HRBPs.

You'll also:

  • Build relationships across Insmed’s departments and functions to connect teams with internal and external talent.
  • Proactively source candidates for assigned roles through targeted outreach, networking, talent pipelines, employee referrals, internal mobility, and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Apply industry insights and competitive intelligence to inform recruiting strategies.
  • Embed recruiting processes, tools, and systems into the business to improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Drive operational excellence through consistent use of recruiting tools, disciplined processes, and accurate data.
  • Develop and review recruiting metrics and reports to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage the offer process, including reference checks, background screening, and compensation alignment.
  • Lead intake, alignment, and debrief discussions with hiring managers and interview teams.

Who You Are

You must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience including 3 years in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. Additionally, you have:

  • Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, digital sourcing strategies, and behavioral-based interview techniques.
  • AI fluency and a proactive approach to adopting emerging technologies, with the ability to apply AI tools responsibly to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and elevate recruiting effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Talent Acquisition tools and technology including AI-enabled recruiting platforms, sourcing tools, talent CRMs, automation, and workforce analytics.
  • Proficiency with translating workforce data, recruiting analytics, and emerging market trends into actionable talent strategies, new sourcing opportunities, and informed investment decisions.
  • Proven ability to participate in or lead projects while managing day-to-day recruiting priorities.
  • A track record of building trusted business partnerships and communicating clearly and effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated success navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy, clarity, and follow-through.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and contribute to a dynamic, inclusive workplace.

Nice to Have (but not required):

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting is a plus.
  • Prior experience supporting Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Drug Safety, and/or Regulatory Affairs is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Beamery and/or Paradox is a plus.

Where You’ll Work

This is a fully remote role. It can be performed effectively from anywhere while staying connected to your Insmed team and community. Occasional travel for team meetings or events will be expected.

Travel Requirements

This role requires occasional domestic travel (approximately 10%).
