Sr. Manager, Utility Data & Systems

Position Summary

The Sr. Manager, Utility Data & Systems owns customer data across the services lifecycle, a data-ownership role central to Neptune’s Solutions Delivery model. This role spans project data management, Neptune 360/My360 implementation, and API & data integrations, ensuring utilities’ data is accurate, well-integrated, and fully leveraged.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own production and transfer file processes for install projects and Neptune 360, including integration with Neptune production data
• Lead file build, validation, and ongoing data-quality monitoring across customer accounts
• Direct implementation, provisioning, and configuration of Neptune 360 and My360 for new and existing customers
• Own ongoing Neptune 360 adoption training to help utilities realize the full value of their data
• Lead API and data-link work, including special-project integrations, SDK/API access, and related training and troubleshooting
• Build and manage a team of data and implementation specialists supporting the services lifecycle
• Partner with Service Systems & Tools and Customer Communication & Support to ensure data flows cleanly across systems

Skills:

• Strong data management and data-quality skills, with attention to detail at scale
• Working knowledge of APIs, SDKs, and system-to-system data integration
• Ability to translate technical data concepts for non-technical customers and internal teams
• Project management skills to run multiple implementations concurrently
• People leadership and team-building skills

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science), or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience: 7+ years of experience in data management, systems implementation, or software adoption/training, including 3+ years in a leadership role. Experience with utility, metering, or SaaS platform data preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AMI/AMR data systems or utility billing/CIS integrations
• Familiarity with API/SDK development or integration work
• Experience training customers on software adoption and data-driven insights

Ways of Working: This is a hybrid position. The Sr. Manager, Utility Data & Systems is expected to work on-site at a Neptune office at least three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days.
