The role

As a Senior QA Engineer (Manual), you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our gaming platform. Beyond hands-on testing, you'll drive quality best practices, contribute to testing strategy, and work closely with Product and Engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.

You will take ownership of complex testing initiatives, identify opportunities to improve QA processes, and help raise quality standards across the team while ensuring our players enjoy a seamless experience.

What you'll be doing

• Design, execute and maintain comprehensive manual test plans, test cases and test scenarios.

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, exploratory, usability and cross-browser testing.

• Take ownership of end-to-end testing for new features and releases, ensuring thorough coverage and high quality.

• Review product requirements and provide early feedback to identify risks, gaps and edge cases before development begins.

• Investigate complex defects, perform root cause analysis and work closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Validate software against both functional and non-functional requirements.

• Report, prioritise, track and verify defects using established tools and processes.

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

• Contribute to test strategy, release planning and continuous improvements to QA processes and documentation.

• Mentor junior QA Engineers through knowledge sharing, peer reviews and best practices.

What we are looking for

• Strong experience in Manual Software Testing, ideally within web-based applications.

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).

• Excellent knowledge of test design techniques and risk-based testing approaches.

• Proven experience with functional, regression, smoke, sanity, exploratory, usability and cross-browser testing.

• Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, request/response flows, cookies and sessions.

• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or Insomnia.

• Confident using browser developer tools for debugging (Network, Console, DOM inspection).

• Good knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience within the iGaming or Social Gaming industry.

• Exposure to automation testing frameworks and automation concepts.

• Experience testing payment systems, promotions, CRM features or back-office platforms.
