ABOUT THE ROLE

Own growth marketing for the Freight Exchange (FX) carrier business across Europe, with the goal of generating more qualified leads and converting more of them into paying customers. You are fully focused on driving growth and contributing to pipeline through continuous, sustainable campaigns.

Most acquisitions come through online channels, so you will partner closely with the digital marketing team. Digital runs paid media execution and contributes channel expertise and insights. Growth sets the strategy, focus segments and market priorities, and brings in input from Sales.

This is a strategic role that stays hands-on: a significant part of your time goes into running bottom-funnel campaigns from A to Z and tying all channels into one growth plan. You report to the Growth Director.

Key responsibilities

Growth strategy and budget

  • Lead the growth strategy across markets and run the priority-market plans, aligned with the other marketing managers in the team. Build the campaign plan to reach MQL, SQL and acquisition targets, with a clear view of where each market stands and what it needs.
  • Define bottom-funnel campaigns together with the digital marketing team, including simple nurturing flows that move a lead to qualified and then to a first sale, and diagnose funnel performance by market and channel.
  • Review performance with digital using CPL, cost per SQL, CPA and conversion data. Propose budget shifts between campaigns and markets based on data, in alignment with Sales.
  • Bring paid and non-paid channels (organic, email, partnerships, content, third parties) into one plan, so budget and effort go where they drive qualified leads.

Hands-on campaigns and collaboration

  • Run lead generation campaigns end to end, from concept and brief to creative, launch and measurement, together with the internal marketing team and central functions (Digital, RevOps).
  • Build campaigns with a paid social and SEA leg, and work with the digital marketing team, who run the ads, to make sure they deliver results.
  • Own programs such as seasonal promotions (for example summer and Black Friday), a referral program for carriers, and end-of-funnel SEA and Meta campaigns.
  • Identify new growth initiatives beyond existing channels and prioritise them by impact.
  • Digital: share the strategic input they need (customer and market insight, priorities by market, what a good lead looks like).
  • Sales: act as the main contact for Sales. Align on campaigns, market insights and MQL and SQL definitions, and join sales calls and client visits to understand the market and customer and turn that into targeted campaigns.
  • Visibility: report on funnel, spend and results to main stakeholders.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

  • 5+ years of senior B2B marketing experience with a growth and demand generation focus, ideally in a marketplace, platform, SaaS or transport and logistics setting.
  • Track record of owning funnel KPIs (MQL, SQL, acquisition) and improving conversion between stages through online campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of digital channels (paid search, paid social, email, CRM and marketing automation), enough to brief the team and challenge results.
  • Analytical mindset: reads funnel and cost data by market and channel and turns it into decisions.
  • Strong influencer without line authority: a clear communicator, good at reporting, and skilled at bringing many stakeholders along.
  • Fluent English at C1 level or above
  • Other European languages (i.e. French, Spanish, Italian or German) are an advantage.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

  • Permanent contract
  • Work model: hybrid with 3 days in the office
  • 23 days of holidays a year + your birthday day off
  • Health insurance
  • Allowance
  • Grow and learning opportunities in an international environment.
  • The possibility to work in a team, but also to work independently.
  • An excellent career opportunity at a leading player in transportation management software.
