Senior Marketing Copywriter

At Assurant, we're seeking a creative and strategic Senior Marketing Copywriter who does more than execute — someone who helps shape how content shows up across the marketing ecosystem, from brand storytelling to demand gen to product marketing, and who can guide the creative work of others, not just their own.

What Will I Do?

• Write and edit marketing content for web, email, social media, sales enablement, events, and product marketing initiatives.
• Provide creative direction to design and video partners, ensuring visual and written content work together to support campaign strategy.
• Apply SEO best practices to content planning and execution, using SEO tools to inform structure, keywords, and optimization.
• Partner with marketing, design, digital, enterprise, and line of business teams as a strategic content voice, not just a production resource.
• Review and proofread content for accuracy, AP Style compliance, grammar, brand consistency, and legal/compliance guidelines.

What Are the Requirements?

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of B2B copywriting and content marketing experience at an agency or in an in-house corporate marketing team.
• Demonstrated experience providing creative direction or feedback on visual/creative assets.
• Working knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Semrush) and best practices.
• Strong understanding of how content functions within the broader marketing ecosystem — brand, demand gen, and product marketing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate marketing experience.
• Experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices.
• Creative mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience working on brand marketing campaigns.

Pay Range:

$64,900.00 - $108,200.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.

If there is no posting end date then this is a pipeline requisition, and we will continue to collect applications on an ongoing basis.
