Company Overview US Biopharma Company, Rare Disease Job Description Work style: Hybrid / remote flexibility Report to: Japan General Manager This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for developing and executing Japan marketing strategies for innovative rare disease therapies. Reporting directly to the Japan General Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with global and regional teams to develop launch strategies, build market opportunities, and implement impactful omnichannel marketing initiatives. The role requires a strategic thinker who can translate insights into action, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive execution in a fast-moving launch environment. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute integrated strategic and tactical marketing plans in collaboration with Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, and global marketing teams. Act as the brand champion and ensure consistent positioning and messaging. Lead successful product launches, working closely with local and global stakeholders. Develop market insights, customer segmentation strategies, and data-driven marketing approaches. Create and execute omnichannel campaigns across digital, events, educational initiatives, and other channels. Support sales teams with effective tools, resources, insights, and engagement strategies. Improve sales force effectiveness through analytics, training initiatives, and strategic programs. Manage external agencies and partners to deliver high-quality marketing activities. Develop content for internal, HCP, patient, and disease awareness communication channels. Organize congress activities, webinars, symposium, and other engagement initiatives. Build strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and external experts. Manage marketing budgets and ensure effective resource allocation. Ensure all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and internal review processes. Partner closely with Medical Affairs to develop patient support initiatives.
