Are you ready to shape how master data enables business transformation and supports enterprise objectives? As Senior Master Data Specialist, you will take a strategic role in strengthening master data management, leading transformation and change initiatives, and establishing governance frameworks that help ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable master data.

You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders while contributing to the strategic direction of master data initiatives and supporting the development of colleagues within the team.

The Role & Your Impact

In this strategic Senior Specialist role, you will take ownership of complex master data processes and help drive the continued modernization of master data management across the organization. You will connect governance, transformation and change management, bringing together business and IT stakeholders to turn enterprise priorities into sustainable master data practices.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead transformation and modernization initiatives across master data tools, processes and practices, identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Establish and strengthen master data governance standards, policies and best practices while driving improvements in data accuracy, completeness and integrity.
  • Lead high-impact master data projects, defining scope, objectives and deliverables together with business and IT stakeholders and coordinating cross-functional teams.
  • Drive change management and adoption of new master data processes and governance frameworks, including training and workshops that strengthen awareness and adherence.
  • Ensure master data readiness for system transformations and large-scale enterprise initiatives, aligning governance with operational and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of master data initiatives while sharing expertise and mentoring junior colleagues.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

We are looking for someone who combines deep master data expertise with the ability to lead complex initiatives and influence stakeholders across the organization.

You bring:

  • A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in master data management, project management, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience working with ERP, CRM or MDM systems, such as SAP, SAP MDG, or Salesforce.
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles and change management methodologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of master data domains such as customer, supplier, product or financial data.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • An analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex data challenges and develop innovative solutions.

You take accountability for your deliverables, think strategically while maintaining attention to detail, and build strong relationships across functions and cultures.

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

We also value:

  • Curiosity about emerging developments in data governance and MDM technologies.
  • An interest in evolving regulatory requirements relevant to master data.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a global and culturally diverse environment.
  • An interest in sharing expertise and developing the capabilities of colleagues.

What We Offer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to influence the strategic direction of master data management, contribute to enterprise-wide transformations and work across business and IT functions. You will be able to apply your expertise to challenging data and governance topics while helping strengthen master data capabilities across the organization.

This is a role with a flexible working setup, combining office‑based and hybrid ways of working depending on collaboration needs and project activities. You will work with stakeholders across functions and geographies, and occasional travel may be required.
