Senior Mechanical Engineer

STEM Recruitment Partners are recruiting for two Senior Mechanical Engineering contract opportunities within a global medical device environment. Both roles offer the chance to contribute to complex medical device development, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Opportunity 1: Combination Medical Devices
Focused on the development of combination devices, including auto-injectors and similar drug delivery systems.
Key Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years' experience in a regulated environment.
• Experience developing combination medical devices from concept through to validation.
• Hands-on mechanical prototyping and rapid-prototyping experience.
• SolidWorks experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and technical design skills.

Opportunity 2: Complex Device Development
Focused on electro-mechanical combination devices, plastic component design, test planning and technical reviews.
Key Requirements:

• Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 5+ years' relevant engineering experience.
• Experience developing complex devices from concept through to validation.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Experience with mechanical prototyping, test protocols and product testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
