Salary Range: $80,000.00 To $92,000.00 Annually SENIOR MEDIA PLANNER JOB SUMMARY The Senior Media Planner leads complex, multi-channel media planning and strategy, translating client goals, audience insights, and performance data into integrated recommendations that drive measurable outcomes. This role owns higher-complexity planning initiatives, shapes optimization strategies and performance narratives, leads client-facing discussions, and strengthens planning rigor across the team. The Senior Media Planner also mentors junior team members and helps advance planning processes, standards, and innovation. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experienced cross-channel strategist with strong analytical judgment and planning expertise Clear, confident communicator who can lead client-facing discussions and articulate strategic rationale and trade-offs Insightful thinker who interprets complex performance trends and translates them into actionable recommendations Proactive operator who brings structure, rigor, and sound judgment to complex planning challenges Supportive mentor invested in developing Media Planners and Associate Media Planners Collaborative partner who strengthens integrated planning across internal teams and external partners RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the development of complex, multi-channel media plans, audience frameworks, channel strategies, and investment recommendations Translate client objectives, audience insights, market considerations, and performance data into clear strategic media recommendations Analyze campaign performance and independently determine optimization strategies, investment shifts, and recommended next steps Lead development of performance narratives that connect campaign results to broader client goals, learnings, and future strategy Present media strategies, recommendations, performance insights, and trade-offs in client-facing discussions Provide strategic guidance on vendor and platform opportunities, evaluating fit based on client objectives, audience needs, performance, and investment considerations Partner with Creative, Analytics, Ad Ops, Account, and other cross-functional teams to shape integrated campaign strategy and execution Mentor Media Planners and Associate Media Planners through coaching, feedback, work review, and day-to-day strategic guidance Identify opportunities to improve planning methodologies, processes, tools, documentation, and team standards Maintain and oversee planning documentation, forecasting inputs, budget frameworks, and performance models for assigned accounts or initiatives REQUIREMENTS 4–6+ years of experience in media planning, buying, or a related discipline Deep working knowledge across digital, social, programmatic, and other relevant media channels Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-channel media strategy and develop recommendations based on client goals, audience insights, budgets, and performance data Strong analytical judgment with the ability to interpret complex data, evaluate trade-offs, and determine appropriate strategic and optimization actions Strong presentation and client-facing communication skills Experience guiding or mentoring junior team members Ability to independently manage complex planning initiatives, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholders Experience with media planning tools, analytics platforms, forecasting tools, spreadsheets, and media systems LOCATION: This is a remote position.
