Job Description:

The Media Operations Planner will have an active role in managing budgets and competitive projects on the Nissan and Infiniti accounts. This role will require the ability to prioritize and multitask on various projects tied to budgets and competitive. Candidates must have foundational media knowledge in addition to a basic understanding of the media industry. Candidates should feel comfortable managing the flow of large quantities of data from individual investment and planning teams. Candidates will be expected to have experience in Excel in order to accurately create and manage pivot tables as well as build charts and graphs. Additionally, candidates will be required to provide analytical thinking to data by providing key insights to budget/competitive charts.


Responsibilities:


  • Candidates will be required to work within agency tools to ensure spend data is consistent across all reports coming from the Operations team
  • Management of budgets within agency tools such as Planit and Media Tools (training will be provided)
  • Collaborate with investment teams to continually update budgets based on purchased media
  • Issuance of weekly and monthly competitive information with analytical insights
  • Work with budget management team and partner agencies to set up vendors within financial systems
  • Provide media planning and investment teams with updates and due dates for milestone budget submission
  • Ensure spend is tracked and invoices are processed in a timely manner
  • Develop ad-hoc executive level report outs to clients
  • Work with Marketing Science team to develop competitive & budget projections

Qualifications


  • 1+ year experience in a creative or media agency environment, with experience on an auto client preferred
  • Ability to analyze data to inform business decisions
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, Power Point pivots, etc.)
  • Familiarity with the media industry and basic media budgeting
