Senior Medical Affairs Specialist support the development, implementation and coordination of global educational programs in all geographies. Support the Medical Affairs team in strategic projects including internal continuous education programs, organization of international podium activities, key opinion leaders (KOLs) and proctors’ engagement plans.
This is a full remote position, but for specific company events is required to be in presence in our HQ in Saluggia (VC).
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the creation of company-related scientific/clinical content, including external- and internal-facing materials and interpretation of incoming materials
- Support the development of podium presentation strategy aligned with company strategy and in full compliance with regulation and transparency requirements
- Contribute to developing a clinical strategy program for CORCYM products for existing and emerging applications
- With the support of the team develops and manages robust programs for:
- Internal training on clinical capabilities (CT scan reading, Perceval Clinical Trainer, etc) and clinical topics
- Clinician engagement for CORCYM products for existing and emerging applications
- KOL relationship building and communication to support strategic objectives
- KOL engagements including contracts, event management and invoice submission in full compliance with regulations and transparency requirements
- KOL maps for compliant engagement to support strategic objectives
- Selection, organization and communications for medical advisory board and
- clinician round-table activities
- Professional education (peer-to-peer activities, preceptorship programs, etc)
- Act as the reference person for all international medical education programs, coordinating and building strong working relations with CORCYM Proctors in all the Geographies.
- Support CORCYM presence at meetings for relevant medical societies by preparing and/or delivering presentations and engaging KOLs for content preparation and delivery
- Support the management of medical education initiatives, provide support for related training activities including in-person events, virtual events, website content and electronic media, and provide clinical instruction for internal and external audiences
- Act as medical affairs expert for product development
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas of cardiology and cardiac surgery
- Full professional proficiency in English
- Proficiency in other languages will be considered a plus
- Medical Affairs board certified will be considered a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and work independently
- Must be able to collaborate in team environment
- Excellent networking and relationship building
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in a medical device company and/or in a clinical cardiovascular setting.
Education:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree required in the field of Life science. Clinical degree preferable.
