Is this job info correct?

When our people share why they joined Rapport and love it here, it comes down to three things: the science, the mission, and the team. At Rapport, we’re driven by a passion for developing precision neuromedicines with the potential for fewer side effects, enabling patients and their families to enjoy healthier, more fulfilling lives. And we’re doing this with extraordinary science and awesome people (affectionately called Rapptors). Our innovative scientific platform is centered on Receptor Associate Proteins (RAPs). RAPs are a component of neuronal receptor complexes, which play a crucial role in regulating receptor assembly and function. This precision approach has the potential to revolutionize the development of small molecule therapies. We are excited about the potential of our lead program, RAP-219. Our first indication targets focal epilepsy with additional clinical trials for neuropathic pain and bipolar disorder. The strength of Rapport comes from our Rapptors – who are united by our mission to improve patients lives. We bring the heart and hustle to advance our science forward, always staying true to our core values. We hope you’re as excited about this opportunity as we are! Your impact: A Sr. Medical Science Liaison at Rapport is more than a scientific expert; they are a connector, collaborator, and trusted partner who helps bridge the external medical community with internal teams. By fostering trusted scientific relationships, generating meaningful insights, and supporting evidence development, the MSL helps shape Medical Affairs strategy while contributing to a team culture where people support one another, learn together, and celebrate shared success. Reporting to the Director, Field Medical, the MSL will support compliant scientific exchange, insight generation, evidence-related activities, and field execution aligned with Medical Affairs strategy. Your day-to-day: Scientific Exchange & External Engagement Build, maintain, and serve as a primary scientific contact for peer-to-peer relationships with scientific leaders, investigators, healthcare professionals, and academic centers within the assigned geography. Conduct compliant, balanced, and evidence-based scientific exchange regarding disease-state science, clinical data, treatment paradigms, safety considerations, and the evolving competitive landscape. Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations, including inquiries related to clinical data, evidence interpretation, safety, and patient management considerations. Represent Medical Affairs at medical conferences, scientific congresses, regional society meetings, and advocacy or educational events as appropriate. Insight Generation & Communication Gather, document, and synthesize field insights related to clinical practice trends, patient needs, barriers to care, emerging evidence, and competitive intelligence. Communicate insights to appropriate internal stakeholders to inform medical strategy, evidence generation, scientific communications, lifecycle planning, and field execution. Identify regional opportunities and challenges that may impact medical education, stakeholder engagement, evidence needs or launch readiness. Education & Scientific Support Deliver high-quality scientific presentations to healthcare providers, formulary or decision-making stakeholders, and internal teams, as appropriate. Contribute to the development or review of scientific materials, including slide decks, FAQs, training resources, congress materials, advisory board content, and standard medical responses, when requested. Support internal medical training and field readiness activities by sharing scientific expertise, field insights, and external stakeholder perspectives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Medical Affairs colleagues and cross-functional teams, including Medical Science, Clinical Trial Awareness, Regulatory, Safety, Market Access, Corporate Affairs, and Commercial, while maintaining strict compliance boundaries. Provide scientific input and field perspective to support launch planning, competitive preparedness, medical education, payer-related scientific needs, and patient journey initiatives. Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, medical communications, and compliant scientific exchange. Demonstrated ability to build credible peer-to-peer relationships with external scientific and clinical stakeholders. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor communication to diverse scientific and healthcare audiences. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a field territory, prioritize external engagements, and document insights in a timely manner.
