About the role

We are seeking an experienced Meta Ads Specialist to plan, launch, manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Facebook and Instagram. You will take ownership of campaign performance, advertising budgets and audience strategy to generate quality leads, sales and measurable business growth.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute Meta advertising strategies aligned with business goals.

Set up and manage campaigns, ad sets and ads through Meta Ads Manager.

Research, build and refine audiences using prospecting, custom audiences, lookalike audiences and retargeting.

Manage media buying, budget allocation and campaign scaling.

Test ad creatives, copy, offers, audiences and landing pages to improve results.

Monitor campaign performance and optimise cost per lead, cost per acquisition and return on ad spend.

Work with designers and copywriters to develop effective advertising content.

Set up, troubleshoot and validate conversion tracking, including Meta Pixel, Conversions API and campaign tracking links.

Track lead quality and sales outcomes with sales teams to assess campaign effectiveness.

Provide clear weekly and monthly reports covering results, insights and recommended actions.

Essential requirements

Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing paid Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.

Strong practical expertise in running ads, audience targeting and media buying.

Demonstrated success generating leads or sales and scaling campaigns while maintaining performance.

Experience managing multiple campaigns, accounts and advertising budgets.

Strong understanding of campaign structure, bidding, conversion tracking, retargeting and creative testing.

Ability to analyse campaign data and make decisions based on business outcomes.

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and take accountability for results.

Preferred experience

Managing campaigns for Australian businesses.

B2B, service-based business or lead generation campaigns.

Working with CRM platforms such as GoHighLevel or HubSpot.

Meta advertising certifications.

How success will be measured

Quality and volume of leads or sales generated.

Cost per qualified lead or customer acquisition.

Return on advertising spend, where applicable.

Ability to scale successful campaigns.

Accuracy of tracking and clarity of reporting.
