The role:

My client are seeking a Senior Middleware Engineer to join their team.

The successful candidate will likely stem from a Banking / Financial Services environment.

This position is hybrid, 2-3 days per week in the office in Central London.

This role will involve some on call work (evenings and weekends).

Responsibilities:

• Providing hands on technical leadership across Middleware platforms
• Acting as the senior escalation point for critical platform problems
• Providing hands on support for IBM MQ, AutoSys and Splunk
• Leading incident diagnosis and remediation
• Delivery improvements across automation and resiliency

Core skills required:

• Strong experience with AutoSys
• Strong experience with IBM MQ
• Exposure to Splunk
