About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer (Kotlin) to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of high-quality Android applications.

You will be responsible for developing scalable mobile solutions, implementing modern Android architectures, optimizing application performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.

This is an opportunity for a technically driven professional with strong Kotlin expertise, knowledge of modern Android development practices, and an interest in cloud integration, DevOps, and AI-assisted coding within a fast-paced and international environment.

Requirements

Your Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin;
  

• Build scalable and maintainable mobile solutions following modern Android development practices;
  

• Implement user interfaces using Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views;
  

• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications;
  

• Apply architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture;
  

• Implement automated tests and ensure application quality, performance, and reliability;
  

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, product teams, and other stakeholders;
  

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and mobile application release processes;
  

• Identify and resolve technical issues, optimize performance, and improve application stability;
  

• Leverage AI-assisted coding tools to improve development productivity and code quality;
  

• Contribute to code reviews, technical decisions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience;
  

• At least 5 years of experience in mobile development, with strong expertise in Kotlin and Android;
  

• Solid experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern Android development practices;
  

• Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow;
  

• Knowledge of MVVM, Clean Architecture, and software design principles;
  

• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON;
  

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks, including JUnit and Espresso;
  

• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and mobile application deployment;
  

• Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger;
  

• Knowledge of mobile security, performance optimization, and application lifecycle management;
  

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT;
  

• Strong problem-solving skills, technical autonomy, and collaborative mindset;
  

• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

• Lisbon or Porto based role;
