About the job


BWC is looking for a Senior .NET Architect Service for its clients in Brussels, Belgium. It's a full-time permanent contract with BWC. Freelance can also apply.


Job Type: Hybrid 50% Onsite + 50% Teleworking in Belgium.


Roles & Requirements:

  • Language: Fluency in English is mandatory, along with native proficiency in at least one of the languages: Dutch, or French.
  • Experience: Min 4 years of experiences as .NET Architect.
  • Experience leading the technical aspects of a portfolio across different domain areas.
  • Strong experience with C#.NET 10 and .NET 4.x.
  • Experience with Blazor as frontend technology.
  • Knowledge of SQL/MongoDB.
  • Experience with Hangfire and RabbitMQ.
  • Knowledge of Clean architecture.
  • Experience with NServiceBus and migration towards Dapr.
  • Experience with micro-services products and Full Stack .NET development teams.
  • Experience supporting complex applications and providing architectural guidance to experienced developers.
  • Experience integrating an existing team to maintain and support applications.
  • Experience modernizing applications and migrating services to .NET 10.
  • Knowledge of modern architecture with the target of Kubernetes (K8s) adoption in the coming 2 years.
  • Good communication skill and coaching developer teams.
  • Be a player role in a scrum teams.
  • Take the lead of multiple dev teams (help coordinate the work during a sprint).
  • Seniority on technical issue investigation (good analytics skills).
  • Give a good vision on the target architecture.
  • Challenge technical choice with other Tech leads and Dev.
  • Challenge feature with PO.
  • Explain to non-business people the technical aspect.
  • Organize collaborative technical session with developers and architects.
  • Handle priority and emergency in efficient way.
  • Structured in the solution approach.
  • Explore new technologies and keep a good technical watch.
  • Onsite presence for 2 days per week is required (Empereur), with 3 days per week remote.
