Senior .NET Developer – Blazor & UI

Our client, a leading organization in the public health sector, is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to drive the design and delivery of modern, accessible business applications. This role focuses on building high-impact digital services from the user interface down to the backend, ensuring a consistent and responsive experience for citizens and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for frontend development and promote consistent application architecture and coding standards.
• Develop features, reusable components, and technical improvements using modern .NET and Blazor.
• Design scalable and maintainable user interface structures that align with accessibility and design system standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Integrate web applications with secure APIs and implement robust authentication flows.
• Ensure high code quality through structured peer reviews, static analysis, and comprehensive testing strategies.
• Support the continuous improvement of engineering practices and coach other developers to foster technical excellence.
  
  

Requirements

• You have 8+ years of backend development experience with C# and Agile methodologies.
• You possess 6+ years of experience with Modern .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• You bring 6+ years of experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and Responsive Design.
• You're experienced with 6+ years of Testing and quality practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and UI automation.
• You have 6+ years of experience managing delivery with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• You possess 5+ years of experience implementing Security and identity protocols via OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.
• You bring 5+ years of experience in Data and integration with Entity Framework Core and SQL.
• You've worked for 3+ years with Blazor and Razor components.
• You have 3+ years of experience delivering solutions that meet Web accessibility and WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
• You are fluent in English with mastery of either French or Dutch.
  
  

Nice to Haves

• 3+ years of experience with Cloud platforms specifically Microsoft Azure.
• 2+ years of experience with Distributed systems and messaging via Azure Service Bus or NServiceBus.
• 2+ years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend interoperability.
• 1+ years of experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Knowledge of .NET Framework maintenance and passive knowledge of Dutch or French.
